National Centre of Excellence - Research Agenda
The National Centre of Excellence (NCE) was created as part of the National Plan to Reduce Violence against Women and their Children 2010-2022 (the National Plan).
The NCE asked for submissions from stakeholders for relevant reseach topics the NCE could investigate and report on. Their aim is to build a strong and lasting evidence base to develop future policy and practice to reduce violence against women and their children.
WLSA suggested three research topics:
- Investigation of the current socio-psychological assessments in family law decisions making and their approach to family and domestic violence
- Spousal and dependent visas and domestic violence
- Child protection and early intervention
