Women’s Legal Services Australia (WLSA) is a national peak body and does not provide legal assistance to members of the public.
Women’s Legal Services Australia (WLSA) works at a national level to support and strengthen women’s legal services across Australia through advocacy, policy, and collaboration.
Because of this role, WLSA is not able to provide legal advice or legal assistance to individuals.
Need Legal Help?
If you are seeking legal advice or support, there are services available that may be able to help.
Women’s Legal Services operate in every state and territory.
You can find them listed on our website’s ‘Find Services’ page, also linked here:

Feedback or complaints about legal services
- WLSA is not able to receive or investigate complaints about individual Women’s Legal Services.
- If your feedback relates to a women’s legal service in your state or territory, please contact the service directly. Each service has its own feedback and complaints process.
- If your feedback relates to the conduct of a legal practitioner, you may contact your state or territory Legal Services Commissioner.
